Beijing Huakangda Computer Application Technology Co., Ltd. (HKD) is a joint venture company that was established in 1994. Nowadays HKD's actual shareholders are China National Chemical Information Center, Beijing Shengdalan Science and Technology Inc., and Société de Réalisations en Systémique Industrielle of France.

        HKD provides dynamic and steady state process simulation, DCS emulation, steam network management, process monitoring and prediction, automatic control and process optimization, information system for petroleum, petrochemical, chemical, pulp and paper, power and other process industries.

        As a high-tech company in industrial computer technology application, HKD operates using up-to-date technologies and international standard management system. HKD has dozens of experienced employees with diversified major backgrounds, such as chemical engineering, automatic control, computer science, and electricity technology backgrounds. As of today, HKD has successfully contracted and subcontracted more than 200 projects at home and abroad, which include dynamic process simulation, process automatic control, information management and web site development. Our engineers have accumulated rich experiences in IT development. WinBase PROS and GPDMS based on Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista and developed by HKD were granted copyright certificates by National Copyright Bureau respectively. HKD passed ISO 9001:2000 authentication in the end of 2003.

        At the beginning of 2005, HKD released a new generation of simulation platform –GPRES (General Process Rigorous Engineering System). This platform includes rigorous thermodynamic algorithms and database, graphic modeling approach, and the 3D virtual reality technology based field station. GPRES was granted the copyright certificates.
